1.Introduction:
In order to promote the development of the discipline of mechanics, provide guidance for the academic development and capacity enhancement of young talents, and promote the rapid growth of young teachers, the "Development of the Discipline of Mechanics, Frontiers of Extreme Mechanics" organized by the Discipline Office of Northwestern Polytechnical University and hosted by the School of Aeronautics and the Institute of Extreme Mechanics will be held on 25th to 26th October 2022 at The forum will be held at the Friendship Campus of Northwestern Polytechnical University.
The forum invites academician Xiaojing Zheng, academician Youhe Zhou, academician Weihong Zhang and more than 20 famous domestic experts, covering three major disciplines: solid mechanics, fluid mechanics and dynamics. The academicians, The national famous experts invited to this forum will give guidance to 29 young teachers from the School of Aeronautics, Institute of Extreme Mechanics, School of Civil Aviation, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Mechanics and Civil Engineering and School of Mathematics and Statistics related to mechanics in our university.
